1. Propane and Drive-able RV
    1. You will typically find that the access door to the propane fill and on/off valve will be one the exterior access doors that does not require a key.
    2. Make sure the propane is turned off during travel and when fueling.
    3. See other articles if your having a specific problem with an appliance that you feel invloves the propane.
  2. Propane and Travel Trailer
    1. You typically find that the propane tank(s) are located between the tongue jack and front of the travel trailer.
    2. If the travel trailer is equipped with two propane tanks you will most likely see a silver assembly with a black lever between the tanks, this is the auto changeover. This will automatically pull from a different tank if ones empties.
    3. When a tank needs to be filled its best to go to a propane filling station as many propane swaps stations will only get you a tank that is 60-70% full and a propane fill station will get you up to 80-85% at less cost.
  3. Propane and Appliances
    1. Outdoor grills and cooktops will have a gas line that needs to be connected to the campers gas line and the grill/cooktop. Make sure you turn silver handle located where the gas line connects to the camper gas hookup to allow propane to flow.
    2. For all other issues check the articles related to the specific appliance.
  4. LP Detector
    1. If you feel the you smell gas turn of propane tank immediately and contact us.
    2. If the LP detector is activated open windows and turn off propane tank immediately and contact us.
    3. Aerosol sprays can activate the LP detector.
